Welcome to my Web Blog.

This is to keep all my friends updated on what's going on with the FC&W and my other railroad adventures. The name Flagstaff, Coconino and Western came from Flagstaff, where I live, Coconino is the county, and Western is where I go to visit other clubs and railroads. I will try and update it on a regular basis.

Joshua Tree Fall Meet

Went to the Joshua Tree fall narrow gauge meet on Nov. 15th-16th. Great weather and of course a great group of narrow gauge friends. I don't why, but I always find something to bring home, this time it was a new project. I am the new owner of a D&RGW #50 switcher in kit form. It was a engine started years ago but never finished and needed a new home so of course I couldn't say "No". I was in need of a 2 1/2" work engine for ballast work and quick rides and it should make a good addition to the railroad while my C-21 is built.
It was a great meet and worth the 5 hour drive to play narrow gauge for a couple of days. Now I gotta get back to my projects.

Peter Moseley and his 268 waiting on the top loop for other trains to make it up the hill.

Bill Bollers new and perfect 268 bumblebee pulling into the station.

Mike Thompson brought out both of his locomotives to run. C&S #13 and Mich-Cal #1. Alex is checking them out.

The perfect period correct cabs inside the C-16's. Still had the coal fire in it.

Chris Burns heading up the hill with the RGS 41 and train.
