Welcome to my Web Blog.

This is to keep all my friends updated on what's going on with the FC&W and my other railroad adventures. The name Flagstaff, Coconino and Western came from Flagstaff, where I live, Coconino is the county, and Western is where I go to visit other clubs and railroads. I will try and update it on a regular basis.

Happenings for July

The rivets for the Diesel arrived and I have been making hundreds of holes in the body for the installation of the rivets. Its looking great but is very time consuming. I have also fabricated and completed the headlight bracket for the #9 mogul.

Also this month was my yearly trip to Portola, CA to work on the WP 0-6-0 # 165. The link of the work week can be found here http://wprrsteam.blogspot.com/ . Also stopped by the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City,NV to check out their equipment and to see the progress on Dan Markoff's E&P combo coach. It looks amazing with a million wood parts ready be fitted and put together.

The C-21 drivers are in the process of being assembled at the Pagosa Springs shops and will be shipped by the end of August.
